William James Finley Taylor

William James Finley Taylor, 66, Homer City died February 27, 2017. He was the son of the late William George and Barbara (Stivanson) Taylor and was born June 20, 1950 in Kittanning, PA. Finley was a member of the Kittanning and Indiana Elks Club where he was the former manager in Indiana. He was also a previous member of the Homer City American Legion, Post #493 and the Kittanning Fire Department Hose Company 4. He was employed by Metplas in Natrona Heights Finley was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed playing his keyboard. He was also a great storyteller, jokester and loved by everybody. Finley is survived by his wife, Henrietta Joi Taylor; children, Bryadie and husband Kelly Bish, Ford City, PA; Matthew Taylor and Christopher Taylor both of Homer City; grandchildren, Makayla and Nicholas, Kenny, Jaden and Alexis, and Brianna, Abbey and Anna Lee. He was also survived by his sister, Sue Ann Taylor and husband Mickey Stubbs, Indiana and nephews, Gabriel, Kevin and Andrew Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded death by his brother Michael Taylor. Friends will be received Thursday, from 2PM until time of service at 7PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City.
