Tara Ann Bellman, 42, of Homer City died Friday, March 6th, 2020.
Tara was born in Indiana on August 26th 1977, the first of three children of Rick and Leslie Bellman.
Tara attended Homer-Center Jr/Sr High School and United Jr/Sr High School for a period of time. Tara was a devoted mother, loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a passion for darts with her brother. She was a member of multiple dart leagues in the area. Tara was always the life of any gathering no matter the size. She had a laugh that was contagious. She was the sun when we needed it. She was an amazing friend to those who knew her. She was a magnet to all of the kids, she will always be their cool aunt Tara. Tara will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Tara is survived by her daughter; KyLeigh Bellman (Shawn Aikins). Her parents; Leslie and Rick Bellman of Homer City; Sister Bobbi Lynne Colgan (John Smith) of Indiana, Pa; Brother Richard (TyTy) Bellman and wife Carrie Bellman of Indiana, Pa. Nieces and nephews; Téa Colgan, Zoē Colgan, Noah Gamache, Joshua Smith, Kiara Smith, Abigail Smith, Richie Bencic, Maxwell Bencic, and Gabriel Reidmiller.
She was preceded in death by grandparents John and Martha (Bobbi) McCully and Clarence (Pete) and Sarah (Sal) Bellman, and 3 Aunts and 2 Uncles.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made directly to the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home.
In celebration of Tara’s life friends and family will be received Thursday March 12th from 4-7 PM at C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home in Homer City.
Tara’s friends are asked to bring a BIC and their favorite memory to share.
