Tamara "Tammy" Kay Barrow

Tamara “Tammy” Kay Barrow, 66, Homer City died May 23, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Margaret (Corosu) Hamilton and was born April 28, 1958 in Indiana, PA.

Tammy was a member of the Homer City Presbyterian Church and the Homer City American Legion Post #493, Women’s Auxiliary. “Her Veterans” meant the world to her and recognizing their service.  She made quilts for the different branches of military and gave them to the Veterans. She also helped raised money for Veterans by holding a “Barrow’s Bash”. 

Tammy loved nature and always fed animals that wandered in her yard BS on her porch. She loved her cats and enjoyed caring for them. Tammy also enjoyed dancing, caring on and making people laugh.  

She is survived by her three sisters, Bonnie (Dan) Steffey, Lucernemines; Becky Battistelli, Lucernemines; and Amy (Tony) Henry, Blairsville.  She is also survived by her four nieces, Lisa (Bryan) Hunter, Indiana; Tonya (Christian) Weller, Homer City; Nina Steffey (Dan Fatula), Lucernemines; Isabella Muster. Lucernmines and her three nephews, Danny (Missy) Steffey, Homer City; Tony (Julie) Steffey; and Jarod (Jo) Shaffer, Lucernemines.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Barrow and her sister, Debbie Steffey.
