Grembi, Stella (Restauri), 90, Nanty Glo , passed away Aug.12, 2016, at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg. Born Nov. 1, 1925 in Export. Daughter of the late Giuseppi and Rosina Restauri. Preceded in death by husband Dominick J. Grembi; Sisters Frances Vaglia and Della McPhee. Brother Nick Restauri. Nieces and nephew Julia and Pete Vaglia and Joann (Restauri) McHugh. Survived by Sons James (Kathy), Maryland and David (Terry), Virgaina. Daughter Rose (Jay) Evans, Nanty Glo. Grandchildren April Grembi (John), Wisconsin; Jessica Grembi, California; Dominick Grembi, North Carolina; Nichole (Steve) DiNinno, Savannah Grembi, and Daisy Grembi, all of Virginia. Great granddaughter Isabella Grembi, Wisconsin. Sisters Edith Modis and Mary Sanderson both of Ebensburg. Numerous loving and caring nieces and nephews of the Restauri and Grembi Families and a great, great niece Stella Frank, her name sake. Stella worked at Jeanett Glass Factory and National Fireworks and Triumph Explosives during World War II making 20 and 40 millimeter shells for the Navy. She retired from the Ebensburg Center in 1988. Member of Retired Public Employees of Pa Local #8302 and St. Marys Church, Nanty Glo. Stella enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, and gardening. Most enjoyable were holidays when the whole family came home. Sitting around the dining room table enjoying a meal and each others company. Family and friends will be received at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home Monday from 5-8, where a Liturgical Wake service will be Held. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 10:00 A.M. at St. Marys Church, Fr. Leonard Voytek, the Celebrant. Committal to follow in St. Marys Cemetery.
