Stanley George Fedinick

Stanley George Fedinick, 84, Homer City died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Kazibroda) Fedinick. Stanley was born February 22, 1928 in Punxsutawney. Mr. Fedinick was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and a retired employee from the State Liquor Store, Indiana. He was also a Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #495 and Senior Citizens. He is survived by his wife of 61 years - Grace Marie Fedinick; daughter Michele Sievers and fianc Jim Donohue of Mohnton, PA and a son Stanley A. of Long Island, NY. He is also survived by one grandson Garrick and wife Jessica Sievers of Wyomissing, PA and two great granddaughters Alyssa and Gianna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 5 brothers John, Steve, Charles, Peter and Michael Fedinick and one sister Madeline Wojik Friends and family will be received Tuesday from 5-9 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where a vigil will be recited. A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site with Father Ron Cyktor, the Celebrant. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Graveside Military Services will be conducted by the Homer City American Legion Post #495.
