Shirley D. (McAdoo) Ferraro

Shirley D. Ferraro, 83, Indiana died Friday, November 1, 2019 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.  She was the daughter of the late William and Elsie (Gardner) McAdoo and was born November 8, 1935 in Homer City.

She is survived by three children, Vicky (John) Poper, Indiana; Sam Ferraro and Annette Ferraro, both of Georgia; five grandchildren, Christa (Mike) Penrod, LeAnne (Adam) Thompson, Adrienne Poper, Frank (Ashley) Lynch and Sam Lynch; and three great grandchildren, James and Audrey Penrod and Jack Thompson.  She is also survived by her siblings, Larry (Vicki) McAdoo, Homer City; Bill (Alice) McAdoo, Jamestown, NY; Janice (Bob) Murphy, Homer City; Gary (Diane) McAdoo; Indiana; Tim (Tina) McAdoo, Homer City; Regina (George) Murphy, Armagh; Marge (Ed) Brewer, Lucernemines and Randy McAdoo, Homer City and two sister-in-law’s, Pat Wise, Lucernemines and Andrea Sarnovsky, Dixonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; her sister, Lydia Rothrock and her brother, Virgil McAdoo.

At Shirley’s request, there will be no services.  The C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City is in charge of arrangements.
