Rose Irma (Winters) Bennett

Rose Irma Bennett, 75, Homer City died October 27, 2011 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Masrgeruite (Choyce) Winters. Rose was born March 24, 1936 in Saxton, PA and she was a volunteer at the Homer City Food Pantry. Our Mom, a member of the United Methodist Church loved all creatures large and small. The thing that seemed to fill her day and provide her with great pleasure was her "nature window". Mrs. Bennett is survived by seven children - Wyatt Bruce Bennett (Betty) of Lock Haven, PA; Donald Bruce Bennett Jr. of Homer City; Lawrence Edgar Bennett (Laura) of Homer City; Jannie Capitosti of Homer City; Sonja Lee Fisette (Andrew) of Georgetown TX; Timothy Albert Bennett (Monica Stephens) of New Holland, PA and Arthur W. Bennett (Thomasen) of Homer City. Grandchildren - Mandi, Melissa, Alisha, Larry Jr., Sasha, Tiffany, Jadon, Adam, Tyler, McKinsey, Joshua, Austin, Jon, Samantha Rose, Rebecca, Samantha, Jacob and Ian 11 Great grandchildren One sister - Patricia Britten of Twin Rocks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Donald Bruce Bennett Sr.; son - Jon Wesley Bennett; brother - Jon Winters; sister - Dorothy Vehovic and son - in - law - Richard Capitosti Friends will be received Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Budner ,officiating.
