Robert J. Bellas

Robert James Bellas, 69, Lucernemines died April 29, 2014 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Steve John Bellas Sr. and Mary Louise (Petrosky) Bellas and was born May 15, 1944 in Lucernemines. He was employed by Arone Lumber, was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and was an Army Veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Renee Vasquez of Washington; sister, Dolores Bellas of Honolulu, Hawaii and brother, Steve (and wife Diane) Bellas of Cleveland, Ohio. He is also survived by his two grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Raleigh Bellas. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site with Rev. Father Ron Cyktor, the celebrant. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
