Richard Eugene Ashbaugh

Richard Eugene Ashbaugh Sr., 73, Blacklick, died April 2, 2025, at his late residence surrounded by his family. He was born November 21, 1951, in Indiana, PA, and was the son of the late Helen Irene Ashbaugh.

Richard worked for McFadden Machine Company.

He was survived by his two sons, Richard Eugene (Holly) Ashbaugh, Jr., and Matthew Charles (Rebecca) Ashbaugh, and his three grandchildren, Morgan Ashbaugh, Chloe Ashbaugh, and Owen Ashbaugh, all of Blairsville. His siblings, twin brother, Donald Ashbaugh, Bonnie Ashbaugh, Sandy Booker, James Ashbaugh, and Tammy Adamson also survived him.

In addition to his mother, Helen he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Bell.

Friends are invited to visit on Monday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. in Homer City. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Joshua Reed, officiating. Interment to follow at Coral Luther Chapel Cemetery, Coral.
