Paul William Piccolini, 88, of Homer City passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home. A son of Antonio Di Franco and Mary Josephine (Battestelli) Piccolini, he was born June 29, 1930 in Homer City. Paul was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Indiana-Franklin Masonic Lodge #313. He worked for many years at Blairsville Westinghouse Specialty Metals, where he retired in 1990. He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Jane (Spohn) whom he married February 5, 1955; his four children, Paul Piccolini and wife Joyce of St. Clairsville, OH; Tony Piccolini and wife Dana of Indiana; Tina and husband Dave Moore of Indiana and Susie and husband Jim McLoughlin of Homer City. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Bethany Hrovat, Lindsey Piccolini, David Moore, Gina DiSalvo, Amanda Piccolini, Patrick Moore, Anthony Piccolini, Maggie McLoughlin, Stephen McLoughlin and six great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Antonia Jane; sister, Jenny and numerous sister and brother-in-laws. Friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM at Hope Lutheran Church, Homer City with Pastor Stephen Bond, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. Graveside military services will be conducted by the Homer City American Legion Post 493. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 35 Ridge Avenue, Homer City, PA 15748
