Bichko, Paul Thomas, 95, Nanty Glo, passed away Oct. 18, 2017 at The Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. He was Born June 12, 1922 in Blacklick Twp. Son of the late George and Anna (Wallo) Bichko, Sr. Preceded in death by his wife Sophie (Sekerak) Bichko, son Paul A. Bichko, and 12 brothers and sisters. Surviving is his daughter Kathleen Livick, Carlisle. Grandchildren Jeffery (Amber) Livick, Chester Springs; Brittany Livick, Enola; Charles T. Livick; Amber R. Livick, both of Carlisle. Great grandchildren Owen H. and Dean H. Livick; Brycen Rott; Grant H. Livick; Brayden A Rott. He was a member St. Marys Church, Nanty Glo where he served a lector and usher, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Polish Club, American Legion Post #619 and the Former VFW Post # 3489, all of Nanty Glo. Paul was a Navy Veteran having served in both World War II and The Korean War. He served as a Union Rep and International Board Member for the UMWA. Family and friends will be received at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, on Monday from 10 A.M. until the time of the funeral mass at 12 P.M. at St. Marys Church, Nanty Glo, Fr. Leonard Voytek, the Celebrant. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Veterans Services will be conducted by the Nanty Glo, Twin Rocks, and Vintondale Ritual Team.
