Otis T. Edwards, 97, Lucisboro Road, Blairsville died September 7, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was the born November 19, 1913 in Center Township and was the son of the late William J. and Maggie (Hill) Edwards. Mr. Edwards worked as a parts manager at Edwards Chevrolet in Indiana for 25 years. He also was the owner and operator of Edwards TV in Blacklick for 25 years and then he was the owner and operator of Iron Kettle Campground with his son until his retirement. After retiring, he enjoyed golfing, creating finely crafted clocks using his scroll saw and spending time with his grandchildren. He also spent time watching his birds. Mr. Edwards is survived by his son, Vernon T. Edwards and wife Virginia of Lucisboro Road, Blairsville; 3 granddaughters, Rita Truitt and husband Rick, Renee Busi and husband Robert and Karen Drennen; 4 great grandchildren, Kayla Strong and husband Mark, Tyler Busi, Joshua Truitt and wife Monica and Kelsey Drennen; 1 great great grandchild, Jackson Strong; Special niece, Erma Shadle of Homer City. He is also survived by four stepsons, James Muir of Shelocta, Perry Muir of Lock Haven, David Muir of Penn Run and Dennis Muir and wife Donna of Indiana and their families; In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Beulah Edwards and second wife Fannie Muir Edwards; brothers, Lloyd, Irvin and Ira Edwards and sisters Isa McConnaughey and Alice Liggett. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Services will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Bond, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
