Nora E. Augustine

Nora E. Augustine, 92, Hillsdale formerly of Homer City died November 25, 2013 in Hillsdale. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Fochia) Augustine and was born April 14, 1921 in Dilltown. Nora returned to Homer City after spending 50 years in Ohio to work with her brother Anthony. They owned and operated Jan Manufacturing Corporation. She was also a hairdresser. Nora was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, enjoyed going to the theatre, movies and dining out. She enjoyed telling jokes and always likes making people laugh. Nora had a positive outlook and she enjoyed life to its fullest. She is survived by her sister, Rita Ann Augustine of Bay Village Ohio, several nieces and nephews and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Pete and Anthony and her sister, Virginia. Friends may be received Monday, December 2, 2013 from 10 AM until time of Blessing Service at 11 AM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City, with Rev. Fr. Ron Cyktor, officiating. Interment to follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
