Mary J. Spinner, Newark, Ohio formerly of Lucernemines, Pa walked her path to heaven April 2, 2020. She was the daughter of the late August and Elizabeth (Hubner) Pozik and was born July 10, 1923 in Nanty Glo, PA.
Mary was a huge Steelers fan and wouldn't even answer the phone if anyone called during their games. She loved spending time with her family, dancing, gardening, and was especially fond of her grand dogs, Oreo and Angel. She worked for the defense plant during WWII for three years and a supply company for nine. She was also employed by Riverside Deli for three to four years in Indiana.
She is survived by her two daughters, Gloria Kirila of Brookfield, Ohio and Marlene and husband Dale Brown of Alexandria Ohio. She is also survived by her grandchildren, William Kirila Jr. and wife Robin of Brookfield, Ohio; Gina and husband Gilberto Carmo, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; and Tiffany Malagisi and husband Chuck of Columbus, Ohio. Her great grandchildren William, Maya, Koa and Colten also survive her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; sisters, Irene Mrazik and Betty Andrews; brothers, Joe and Alex Pozik and an infant sister, Elizabeth.

Due to public health concerns at this time, services will be private with interment at St. Bernard Cemetery.
