Margaret "Peg" Patti of Indiana passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at the age of 93. She was born to Michael and Elizabeth Dzujko Pavolko in Claghorn on Jan. 3, 1922. Following the death of her husband, Al in 1977, Peg ran Al Patti's Bar in Indiana where she enjoyed conversing, serving, and counseling many of her regular patrons including IUP students, who kept her young at heart. When not working, Peg enjoyed eating good food, especially pie and ice cream, and spending time with her family and granddogs Sparky, Max and Winnie. She was an amazing cook. Peg is survived by her loving and devoted children, daughter: Jan Patti and significant other Dan Keogh, and son: Albert "Marty" Patti and significant other Barb Riley, all of Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including James and Christina Costello and family of Homer City with whom she shared many family events and holiday dinners. She lived a full life and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she joins her husband: Albert Patti, three brothers: John, Joseph, and Michael Pavolko Jr., and three sisters: Elizabeth Costello, Ann Nymick, and Mary Kiral in the afterlife. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass that will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Lucernemines with Father Ronald L. Cyktor Jr. as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
