Margaret Frances (Lindey) Magee

Margaret Frances “Fran” Magee, 82, Portersville, PA died September 13, 2021 at the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.  She was the daughter of the late George Irvin and Margaret Frances Lindey and was born November 23, 1938 in Portersville, PA.

Fran was a member of Mountville Presbyterian Church, in Portersville, PA where she was a Deacon and bible school teacher.  Fran enjoyed baking, cooking and gardening, she was a great cook and made many signature desserts enjoyed by her family.
She enjoyed being an Avon representative for over 50 years.  Fran had a dry sense of humor and was always trying to make people laugh. She grew up on her parent's farms and loved animals.

Fran is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gerald W. Magee; her children, Theresa (Magee) Sweithelm, Indiana, PA; Paul Richard Magee and wife Sherry, New Castle, PA; Jodi (Magee) Straub and husband, Stephen, Maidens, VA; Patrick Wayne Magee, Butler, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Megan Smith, Ryan Sweithelm, Sean Sweithelm, Bethany Ruhlman, Devin Straub, John Magee, Sherilynn Magee and her sisters, Patricia Anderson, Portersville, PA and Vanessa Carr, Tucson, AZ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Joann Lindey.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the supervision of the Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City, PA.
