Margaret M. (Michna) Kozele

Margaret M. Kozele, 80, Homer City died Wednesday, March 07, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Orlosky) Michna and was born December 25, 1931 in Homer City. Margaret was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. She had a well-known reputation for her baked goods, which were known as "Margie's Goodies." Margaret enjoyed sewing and participating in craft shows around the area. She also spent much of her time with her loving family, particularly baking with her granddaughter. She is survived by her husband - John Kozele; 2 daughters - Cindy and husband Edward Anderson of Chandler, Arizona and Judy Morrow of Homer City; and one granddaughter - Danielle Morrow of Homer City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 6 brothers - Joseph, Michael, John, Frank, Edward and George. Her sister - Anna Wavrek and an infant sister - Helen Michna also preceded her in death. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Blessing Service will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site with Rev. Father Ron Cyktor, the celebrant. Interment to follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
