Lucy Caruso

Lucy Caruso, 98, Homer City died December 28, 2018 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine (Delpra) Pompei and was born March 21, 1920 in Center Township. Lucy was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. She is survived by her two sons, Paul R. Caruso, Homer City and Donald Caruso and wife Donna, Creekside. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Paul Jude, Jimmy, Geffrey, Michael and Chad, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic Caruso, her grandson, Gregg Caruso, her sister, Mary Strini and her brothers, Peter Stella, Joseph Stella, John Stella, Anthony Stella and Redenzio Stella. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Blessing Service will be held Thursday at 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site. Interment to follow in the St. Louis Cemetery, Lucernemines.
