Louis Zaveson, 90, Blairsville died May 2, 2017 at his late residence. He was the son of the late Paul and Cecilia (Warga) Zaveson and was born August 16, 1926 in Akron Ohio. He was a member of the Independent Traditional Holiness Church. Mr. Zaveson served in WWII as a corporal in the USMC where he served in the Pacific Theater and Iwo Jima. He was also employed by Beckwith Machinery. He is survived by his wife Berniece (Fridley); son, Louis Paul, Blairsville, PA; daughters, Robin and husband Tom Yurky, Irvona, PA; Karen and husband Tim Burnheimer, Homer City, PA and grandson, Jacob Burnheimer, Westview, Pittsburgh, PA; granddaughter, Julie Burnheimer, Indiana, PA and great granddaughter, Rowen 'the little one' Burnheimer, Bridgeport, WV, . He is also survived by his brother, Sam Zaveson, California. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Pete, Steve, Milan and George and sisters, Millie Sheridan, Kay Cowie, Olga Raybuck, Paulene Juszczak and infant twin sisters. As per Louis wishes, a private graveside service with be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2 PM at the Independant Traditional Holiness Church with the Rev. Charles Williamson, officiating.
