Lloyd Hubbert Jr., 95, of Graceton passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 14, 2019. He was the son of the late Lloyd Sr. and Mary Ann (McClaren) Hubbert and was born June 26, 1923 in Indiana. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during World War II, receiving the WWII Victory Medal, the Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He retired from Tunnelton Mining Company after working as a coal miner for over 40 years. He enjoyed working in his garden and traveling with his beloved wife Ann, also his yearly trips to his army reunions were very endearing to him. His family meant the world to him, he was a very proud man and a person of great integrity. Lloyd is survived by his four children, son, Lloyd Hubbert III and wife Brenda, of Indiana; daughter, Dianna Magiera and husband David of North Carolina; daughter, Deborah Kislak and husband Tim of Graceton; and son, Ronald Hubbert, also of Graceton. He is also survived by grandchildren, Brenda Mondok and husband David; Shelbi McCoy and husband Chad; Tommy Brown and Melinda; Bridget Wright and husband Jesse, Jason Hubbert and wife Leslie and Heather Rankin and husband Bill. Nine great grandchildren also survive him. Also a special thanks to a special friend, Betty Galllo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ann in 2013, and his sisters, Mary Ellen Pierce and Annamarie Clawson. Friends will be received Wednesday, February 20th from 2-6 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 21st at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Morris, officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. A celebration of life will be held Thursday at the Homer City United Methodist Church, Main Street, Homer City immediately following graveside services.
