Leonard Lewis Domenick, 76, Brookville, PA died Friday, July 20, 2018 at his late residence. He was the son of Leonard Lewis and Sybil (Horrell) Domenick and was born November 22, 1941 in Lucernemines, PA. Len was employed for 36 years by the Matson Lumber Company in Brookville, PA, where he held the positions of controller and corporate officer, he enjoyed working with the entire Matson family. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Talbot County, was a member of the Pinecrest Country Club and truly enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends. Len loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family. He also loved the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins and Steelers. Most of all, Len loved his family - he was extremely proud of his girls and grandchildren. Len's family photos were his "wall of fame." Len is survived by his loving wife, Veronica "Dovey" (Sobieray) of 55 years and their three daughters, Christine Ann (Donald) Peterson, III, of Canton, Ohio; Renee Nicole (James) DiCola of Canton, Ohio; and Lisa Marie (Bradley) Zucchero of Alliance, Ohio. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Donald A. Peterson, IV, John William Peterson, Vincenzo Domenick Zucchero, Cecilia Maddalena Zucchero, Lucia Isabella Zucchero, and Domenick Francis DiCola. Leonard was the oldest of ten children and is survived by his brother, Marlin (Bobbie) Domenick, Akron, OH; brother, Dean Domenick, Roseville, MI; sister, Olivia Domenick Osten (Dean), Springfield, MO; sister, Deborah Domenick Hill (Dan Buterbaugh), Lucerne Mines, PA; brother, Mark Domenick (Patty), Lucerne Mines, PA; sister, Alva Domenick Hill (Don), Blairsville, PA; sister, Lola Domenick Skoff (Stephen); Homer City, PA; and brother, Wade Domenick, Homer City, PA. Many nieces and nephews also survive him. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lynetta Domenick Herbert. Friends will be received Tuesday from 5-9 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Friends may also be received Wednesday from 8:30 AM until time of Blessing Service at 9:15 AM at the funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana, PA. Interment will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
