Kim Elaine Myers

Kim Elaine (Garvin) Myers, 68, Homer City, died January 31, 2025, at the Communities at Indian Haven. She was born on April 25, 1956, in Lakewood, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Etta LaRue (Swearinger) Garvin. 

Kim is a retired nurse who worked at Latrobe Health and Rehab. She enjoyed knitting, reading, and spending time with her pets. 

She is survived by her two sons, Douglas Myers and his girlfriend, Tamela Shipley and Derek Myers, all of Homer City. Her two sisters, Jan Fallara of Homer City and Jill Alt of Armagh, also survived her. 

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City.

Per Kim's request, there will be no funeral services.
