Judith Ann Webb

d. December 1, 2019

Judith Ann (Sisak) Webb, age 72, entered into eternal rest on, Sunday, December 1, 2019.  She was the wife of the late retired Major Ronald E. Webb (USMC).

Judy was born and raised in Graceton, Pennsylvania.  She was the daughter of the late Steve and Eva (Kundla) Sisak.  She spent the first 20 years of her life in Graceton and then headed to Washington, D.C. where she eventually met Ron.  From there, the two of them traveled the world together from California, to Japan, to England, North Carolina and eventually ended up settling in Central Pennsylvania.  They had two daughters Holly (Bernie) Komoroski of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania and Noelle (Kevin) Castiglia of Charleston, South Carolina who got to enjoy much of this traveling with them.

Judy worked for the Navy, specifically the Navy Depot where she was a systems analyst for the nuclear department.  While living in Mechanicsburg, she was a member of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church.

After about 20 years in Pennsylvania, Judy and Ron decided it was time for a change and retired to Summerville, South Carolina.  Here Judy picked up the hobby of Pickle Ball and also enjoyed walking and socializing with neighbors.

Unfortunately, the last ten years of her life, Judy had to deal with the progression Alzheimer’s disease and dementia that stole her from her life and her family.  She returned to living in Pennsylvania to be closer to her roots.  Although the disease was difficult, she handled it with as much grace and dignity as possible.  She had a heart of gold and she and her smile will be greatly missed.

In addition to her daughters, Judy is survived by her seven grandchildren; Madeline, Nathan and Julia Komoroski and Grady, Griffin, Anna Catherine and Carter Castiglia.  One brother Stephen (Rich) Sisak of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, two sisters Gloria Sisak (George Giangi) of Hershey, Pennsylvania and Darlene Schneider of Clearwater, Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitors will be received at 10 AM on Friday December 6, 2019 at the C Frederick  Bowser Funeral Home in Homer City, PA with liturgy to follow at 11:30 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Homer City.  Interment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association P.O.
