Joseph Travis, 79, Luciusboro died January 3, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian. He was the son of the late John and Louise (Prosser) Risko and was born July 19, 1940 in Central City, PA.
Joseph enjoyed building bikes, riding Harleys and working on his cars. He also loved to play his guitar and sing. He was a retired machinist.
Joseph is survived by his wife , Ruby Travis; four children, Shirl (James) Quick, Blairsville; Debra (Wayne) Fulton, Florida; Steven (Kelli) Travis, Penn run and Dawn Ruffner, Lucernemines; eight grandchildren, Jimi Quick, Jamie Quick, Godfree Rodman, Sara Cochran, Jordyn and Zachary Travis and Breonna and Travis Ruffner.
He is also survived by five great grandchildren, Jeremy Shields, Jenna Wissinger, Godfree and Chelsea Rodman and Jace Cochran; two brothers, John (Kathryn) Risko, New York, Paul (Alice) Travis, Coal Port and sister, Joanne DeHart, Maine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Joseph Rodman and brother, Steven Risko.
Friends will be received Monday from 3 until time of service at 6PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City.
