John H. Pierce

John H. Pierce, 65, Homer City died July 3, 2019 at Scenery Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was the son of the late Donald W. and Betty Jane (McClure) Pierce and was born October 5, 1953 in Indiana. John was a member of St. Bernards of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church and UMWA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes, bowling and pool. John is survived by his sons, Adam Pierce, Homer City, Aaron (Robin) Pierce, Vancouver, WA and Jared (Tiffany) Murtha, Robinson, PA and his grandchildren, Jerrica, Gemma, Arden, Laura, Riley and Cora. He is also survived by his brother, James (Lori) Pierce and his sister, Cathy (Mark) Williams both of Indiana, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia (Milner), and his brother, Donald. Friends will be received, Monday from 5 until time of Memorial Service at 7PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Interment will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
