John Joseph Fetchko

John Joseph Fetchko, Jr., age 18, of Josephine, died October 11, 2016. He was born on September 3, 1998 in Alabama and was the son of John J. Fetchko, Sr. John was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral Site. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting at the rifle range and dirt bike riding. He was an accomplished guitar player. He played baseball on the Sr. Legion and high school teams, was a wrestler and played football. John was employed by Diamond Turf and Landscaping and part time at the Rainbow Inn. John is survived by his father and his sister Jessica Fetchko, Josephine. His grandparents John and Marcella Fetchko, Josephine and two uncles, Mark Fetchko, Josephine and Michael Fetchko, Josephine. He is also survived by his mother Sheila Hayles, Texas and maternal aunt and uncle David and Sherry Essery, Texas and two cousins Sarah Fetchko and Thea Williams, Tennessee. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Vigil service will be recited Thursday. A Blessing Service will be held Friday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral Site with Msgr. Larry Kinary, the celebrant. Interment to follow in the St. Francis Cemetery.
