JoAnne Marie Yanoschick, age 73, of Black Lick died February 6, 2014 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on August 2, 1941 in Rossiter, PA and was the daughter of Edward and Frances (Kopas) Sitosky. JoAnne was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was caring and beautiful inside and out. She loved life, her family and friends, and most of all her grandchildren. JoAnne loved attending her grandchildren's athletic and school activities. She was their number one fan. JoAnne also enjoyed watching Steelers games, cooking, and listening to Polka music. JoAnne is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa Pohley and Kelly Berezansky both of Homer City. She is also survived by four grandchildren Jordan and Eden Pohley and Aaron and Laken Berezansky JoAnne is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Evelyn and Richard Shugarts, of Brookville, PA; Edward and Connie Sitosky of Rural Valley; Betty and Tony Test of Punxsutawney and Dave and Janet Sitosky of Home. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Robert Yanoschick. Friends will be received on Sunday, February 9 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow in the St. Francis Cemetery. After the clouds, the sunshine, after the winter, the spring, after the shower, the rainbow, for life is a changeable thing.
