Waldron, James, T.,Frex, 71, Nanty Glo, passed away June 12, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born Oct. 27, 1946 in Johnstown. Son of William and Dorothy (Bracken) Waldron. Preceded in death by father, brothers-in-law Roger Holby, Jack Korotko, Fred OFarrell, Don Szydlik, and Vince Colaianne. Sister-in-law Sara Szydlik. Frex is survived by his loving wife of 47 years the former Kathleen Gribbin. Children William Rusty and his wife Regina, Verona, NJ; Shannon Pisarcik and her husband Timothy, New Florence; Kaleena Lavariega and her husband Januario, Fort Myers, FL. Grandchildren Regina, Will, and Ellen Waldron; Noah and Bailey Pisarcik; Kataleena and Nellie Lavaregia. Mother Dorothy Waldron. Brother of Dorothy Jean (Louie) Kozlovac, Diane Holby, Debbie OFarrell, Joyce (Jeff) Price, and Jack (Lisa) Waldron. Sister-in-law Helen Korotko. Brother-in-law Thomas (Kathy) Gribbin, Thomas (Janet) Wilson. Margaret Colaianne and Rosemary (Don) Geary. Numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Marys Church, Nanty Glo. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Lady of Knock Division, Johnstown, American Legion, Post 619, Nanty Glo, Lifetime member of VFW. He was a Captain in the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Frex worked as a coal miner, where he later worked in labor relations, Tanoma Mining and Arch of Kentucky. Former owner of The Bench. He retired as a Veterans Employment Representative. He was an integral part of the Nanty Glo VFW fast pitch Softball team that won numerous league titles and a state championship. He enjoyed golf and traveling. Frex loved spending time with his family. Family and friends will be received at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home on Thursday from 6PM- 8PM and on Friday 2PM-4PM and 6PM- 8PM. Liturgical Wake service will be Friday. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10 AM, at St. Marys Church, Fr. Leonard Voytek, Officiating. Interment to be in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Nanty Glo, Twin Rocks, and Vintondale Ritual team will conduct Veterans Services Saturday. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Marys Church.
