James William Henry, 75, Homer City died June 5, 2015 at Shadyside Hospital. He was the son of the late Charles Henry and Ruby Tennaro and was born November 18, 1939 in Iselin, PA. Mr. Henry was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Homer City, the Blairsville Eagles, and a lifetime member of the Red Barn Sportsmen Club. He was a former coach of the 1619 baseball team and was the liaison between FMC and the Homer City Boosters in acquiring the land where the Homer City Little League fields are presently. James was employed by FMC for 31 years and before that he worked at Indiana Sportswear, Hunter Corporation in Blairsville and Ray Chord in Apollo. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judith Ann (Spellman); children, Dawn Henry, Coral; James (Marjorie), New Florence; Sheri Henry, Homer City and five grandchildren, Cory (Danielle) Byrne, Homer City; Cassie Byrne, Indiana; Paige, Kelsey and Blake all of New Florence. He is also survived by one great grandchild, Colton Byrne and one step great grandchild, Peyton Mohney, one brother, Jerry "Raz" Razayeski and one sister, Sandy Shreve, Shelocta. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Burl Engle and Mrs. Charles W. Henry and his aunts and uncles. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-7PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where services will be held at 7PM with Rev. Stephen Bond, officiating.
