Isabel R. Shandick

Isabel R. Shandick, age 97, of Lucernemines, PA. died Saturday, August 20, 2016 At Beacon Ridge Nursing Home. She was born on January 27, 1919 in Barnesboro, PA and was the daughter of William T. and Edith (Marsh) Reid. Isabel is survived by 1 daughter Patricia Pat Gonda and husband William 'Curly', Homer City, PA. and two sons, William Bill Shandick, Broomfield, Colorado and John Jack Shandick and wife Christine, Shelocta, PA. She is survived by 9 grandchildren; Kim, Christine, Karen, Kathy, Michael, Melanie, Michelle, Jim and Tonya and 12 great grandchildren; 5 boys, Ben, Jason, Anson, Connor and Tyler and 7 girls Jaime, Becca, Alex, Abby, Janee, Hannah and Gracie. Isabel is also survived by 3 great great grandchildren, 1 boy Ben and 2 girls Alexa and Allison. Surviving also is 1 sister Delores Shutty, North Royalton, Ohio. Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael Curly Shandick, 4 brothers; George, Bill, Jim and Gilbert Reid and 3 sisters; Janet Brown, Marion Lockard and Elizabeth Wagner and daughter in law Dianne Shandick. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Morris, officiating. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
