Helen I. Stewart

Helen I. Stewart, age 98 of Homer City went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 7, 2017. She was the daughter of George and Mary (Sprock) Stewart and was born on May 25, 1919. Helen worked as a cook at the Chicken Deli, Homer City Laundromat and the Indiana Hospital. Helen is survived by her son Richard M. (Dick) and wife Patty Stewart, Grandson Richard W. (Rick) Stewart, Granddaughter Kelli A. and husband Bradley McDermott, and two great grandchildren Alex and Richelle Stewart. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mabon Stewart, and infant son Jackie. Helen was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by many people who were touched by this special lady. She is last last of thirteen siblings. Friends will be received Tuesday 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Graveside services will be held by Rev. R. A. Wallace, Wednesday at Brush Valley Lutheran Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
