Hazel Mae Hainaut

Hazel Mae Hainaut, age 91, of Homer City died Monday, January 20, 2014 at Beacon Ridge in Indiana. Hazel was born on December 3, 1922 in Latrobe, PA and was the daughter of John and Hazel (Kiser) Thomas. Hazel attended United Presbyterian Church, Homer City. She was a graduate of Latrobe School of Nursing in 1949. Hazel worked most of her life as a nurse and formerly worked for Dr. Herbert Hanna in Blairsville. Hazel is survived by 3 sisters Joellyn Fiorina and husband John, Latrobe, PA; Nell Terney, Fountain Inn, SC and Barbara Rullo, Latrobe And many nieces and nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by 1st husband Samuel L. Crusan in 1945 and by her 2nd husband William Hainaut in 1974 and by an infant baby girl. Also by 1 brother Wilbur. Friends will be received Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City with Pastor Frank Torzok officiating. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery
