Harold Dwight Moorhead

Harold Dwight Moorhead, 82, Blairsville died July 28, 2024, at his late residence with his loving wife Judy by his side. He was the son of the late Dale and Hazel Moorhead and was born November 12, 1941, in Indiana, PA.

Harold graduated from Laura Lamar High School in 1959. Following graduation he served in the United Stated National Guard. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Gorell Window and Door’s. Harold was an avid Steelers fan and in his younger years enjoyed roller skating with Judy and family members. He was known as “Mr. Fixit” as he was very handy around the house.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; his three sons, David and his wife Lori, JR and his wife Lisa, and Shawn; and his three step-children, Deb and her husband Chad, Sam and his wife Lisa, and Cindy and her husband, Darin. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, five step-great grandchildren, and his best buddy, Susie. His niece, nephew, and great-niece also survived him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne, his brother-in-law, Ken Zack, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
