Harold Stewart Housholder, Sr., age 86, died April 21, 2017 at Beacon Ridge. He was the son of the late Isaac Stewart and Estella Millmay (Repine) Housholder and was born on September 5, 1930. Harold was a life-long resident of Coral. He was a bookkeeper and was employed by various companies over the years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was a 50 year member of the American Legion Post #493. He married the love of his life, Grace Marie Lockard, on May 2, 1953. He was a member of the Luther Chapel Lutheran Church, Coral for his entire life. He was a life member of the Coral-Graceton Volunteer Fire Company. His greatest joy was driving his car to the job site where his boys were working, keeping track of his grandchildren or parking in front of one of his childrens houses to talk to them. He is survived by his children; Harold Jr. (Janet), Karen (Jim) Jennings, Dennis (Marianne), Mark (Michele) all of Coral and Nancy (James) Risinger of Indiana. Harold is survived by grandchildren; Harold III (Hope), of Homer City, Eric (Amber), of New Kensington, Melissa (Frank) Boboige, of Chambersburg, Matthew (Tammy) of Coral, Kristin (Phillip) Barnett of Coral, Adam of Coral, Robert Risinger of Indiana, Brooke Housholder of Coral, Kenneth (Julie) Silvis of Blairsville, and Kristen Johnson of Northeast, PA. He is survived by great grandchildren Samantha, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Cody, Xander, Grace Elizabeth, Caleb, Gabryelle, Memphis, Jett, Anslee, and Locke. He is also survived by a brother Thomas R. Housholder, North Ridgeville, Ohio Harold was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Grace Marie, in 1996. Friends will be received Sunday from 4-8 pm at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Tedd Cogar, officiating. Burial will take place in the Luther Chapel Lutheran Cemetery, Coral and graveside military honors will be handled by the American Legion Post #493. Memorial donations in Harolds memory can be made to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff at Beacon Ridge for allowing him to be a part of their family and taking such good care of him.
