Gerald "Jerry" D. Barnett

Gerald “Jerry" D. Barnett, 93, Lucernemines died Saturday, February 10, 2024 at his residence. He was the son of the late Clark and Mabel (Kennedy) Barnett and was born August 4, 1930 in Dayton, PA.

Jerry was one of 11 children and the last surviving member of his family.  He resided in Florida for many years.  Jerry was employed at Dick Drennan Chevrolet and was also the owner of Quaker State in Homer City.

He leaves behind his three children, Jerry Barnett, Barbara Grey and Tammy Barnett; his six grandchildren, Alysha, Dylan, Amber, Brittany, Shawn, and Zak; his nine great grandchildren and his two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret; his second wife, Sadie, his two sons, Martin and Ricky Barnett and his grandson, Robert Beskid.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday at 2 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.  Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City are in charge of arrangements.
