Genevieve Jones

Genevieve Jones, age 90, of Homer City died December 1, 2011 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Genevieve was born on October 14, 1921 in Dora, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of Art and Sarah ( Balls) Anderson. She was a member of the Homer City Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Genevieve is survived by 2 sons; Edward "Bud" Jones and wife Judy, Homer City William Jones and wife Dianna, Indiana 4 Grandchildren; Chris Jones and wife Courtney, South Riding, VA, Timothy Jones and wife Angela, Ernest, Kevin Jones and wife Kym, St. Augustine, FL, and Matthew Jones and wife Beth, Kittaning. 2 Great Grandchildren Emily Elizabeth Jones and Jameson Jones 2 brothers Richard Anderson and wife Katherine and Edward Anderson and wife Isabelle, both of Homer City. She was preceded in death by husband Ken, sister Irene Yosurack and brother Alfred Anderson Friends will be received Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with The Rev. Ann Miner officiating. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
