Frances "Keena" (Canton) Voytek

Frances Keena Voytek, 92, of Coral died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Communities of Indian Haven, Indiana PA. Frances was born October 14, 1920 in Elk County, daughter of the late Joseph and Rosa (DeBarba) Canton. Frances loved to cook and bake and her grandsons were her pride and joy. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and the First Catholic Jednota Lodge. She is survived by her husband of 66 years George Voytek, two daughters Georgette Johnston and her husband Terry Johnston of Penn Run and Cindy Wilson and her husband David Wilson of Coral. She is also survived by her two grandsons Brian Johnston and his fiance Julie Sando of Oceanside, CA and Brett Johnston of Hollidaysburg. Her sister Josephine Cassiere of New Alexandria also survives her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings - Ida Secco, Alexander Canton, Louis Canton, Oliver Canton, Mary Mattiuz, Emma Briglia and Elizabeth Giovannelli. A special thanks to her caretakers Jeanne, Nikki, Tracy and Carol. Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Blessing Service will be held Monday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral Site. Interment will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery.
