Frances M. Caylor

Frances M. Caylor, 72, of Coral, died October 3, 2024, at her late residence. She was born on November 27, 1952, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Rotosky) Wascak. 

Frances was a member of the Red Barn Sportsman's Club. She was happiest when she spent time with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and step-grandchildren, who lovingly called her Gramy. Frances spent her career in the billing department at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.   

Frances was survived by her daughter Patricia (Mark) Dressler, Coral; step-children Robert Layton Jr. and partner, Commodore; Dawn (Dan)Johnson, Indiana; Melissa (Mike) Yount, Aultman; Kimberly (Greg) Coleman, Homer City;  Traci (Nick) Kachur, Pittsburgh; Diane Leasure, Denver, PA; and Michelle Caylor, Drexel Hill, PA.  Stepdaughter-in-law Angela Caylor, Homer City, also survived her.  Frances was also survived by grandchildren Cody (Haley) Dressler, Indiana, and Meghan (Daniel) Gonzalez, Kittanning, PA and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was survived by one brother, S. Michael (Lynn) Wascak, Ashburn, VA, and one sister, Lucy (David) Stanoszek, Apollo.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Layton, Sr.; husband Robert Caylor, and brother Albert Wascak.  

Friends will be received Monday, October 7th, from 4-7 PM at the Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the Bowser Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Terry Semsick officiating.
