Flora Mae (Ensminger) Lingle

Flora Mae Lingle, 92, Homer City died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at The Communities of Indian Haven. She was the daughter of the late William H. and Barbara H. (Just) Ensminger and was born December 10, 1919 in Tire Hill, PA. Mrs. Lingle worked at FMC for 15 years. She enjoyed flowers, herbs and the woods and was a member of the Herb Society of Indiana County and the Botanical Society of Indiana County. Flora Mae had a strong love for her family, and also loved and cared for children. She is survived by 3 daughters Kay and her husband Ben Sink of Homer City, PA, Janice Aileen Lingle Kavo of Homer City, PA and Delores and her husband Bill Alter of Graceton, PA. 5 grandchildren: Bill Sink and his wife Susie, Debi Sink, Cherie and her husband Terry Jones, Carrie Lingle and Jonathan Alter Two great grandchildren: Ty Tonelli and A.J. Fisher. She is also survived by one sister - Barbara and her husband David Morris of Indiana, PA and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harvey B. Lingle, and two brothers William and Donald and one sister Dorothy Wayland. Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-8PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City, PA. Visitation will also be held Thursday from noon until time of funeral service at 1PM at the Hope Lutheran Church, Homer City, PA with Rev. Stephen Bond, officiating.
