Evelyn Mack Liggett, 72, Homer City, died May 13, 2012 on Mother's Day. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Jane Mack and was born December 16, 1939. She owned her own notary business and also shared a salvage business plus rentals with her son Kenneth S. Liggett for 30 years. She was well known and loved by everyone that knew her. Mrs. Liggett was known as a loving, caring, honest, beautiful woman. She is survived by her husband Homer C. Liggett of which death ends a marriage union of 53 years; Four sons - Tony C and wife Justine, Roger C. and wife Pearl, Kenneth S. and wife Renee and Aaron S.; One daughter - Barbara Ellen and boyfriend Ray Goshert and his daughter - Madline; Grandchildren - Ryan, Kayla, Michael, Eric, Alexis and Jim Jr; Step grandchildren - Brian and Daniel; Great grandchildren - Donavon, Danasia and Destiny. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother - Blair Wallace and cousin James Mack. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Thornton, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
