Ethel A. (Fisher) Zorak, 76 , of Lucernemines died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at UPMC Presbyterian. Ethel was the daughter of the late Ray and Elsie (Laney) Fisher and was born October 27, 1936 in Lucernemines. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and adored her family. She enjoyed crafts, ceramics and making wreaths for Christmas. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Ethel also loved going to flea markets. In her younger years she worked as a secretary for Bauer-Bearings in Cleveland but returned to Indiana County to be with her family. She then was employed by Season-All. Ethel is survived by her husband - William; 3 children- Cindy (Zorak) Hippchen; Linda (Zorak) Gordish and husband Mark Gordish and Joe Zorak and wife Jamie (Gearheart) Zorak all of Lucernemines. 6 grandchildren - Scott Hippchen and wife Alicia (Gordish) Hippchen; Kristy (Hippchen) Buige and husband Anthony Buige; Josh Zorak, Marissa Zorak, Tyler Zorak and Brandon Zorak; 2 great-granddaughters - Katlyn Hippchen and Maria Hippchen; and one great-granddaughter on the way (expected by Kristy and Anthony Buige in early May 2013). Ethel is also survived by one sister - Sara (Fisher) Peter and one sister-in-law - Jane Fisher both of Michigan, in addition to many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters- Mable Fisher, Myra (Fisher) Bemis, Grace (Fisher) Majors and Marge "Honey" (Fisher) Miasano; one brother - Kenneth Fisher; an infant sister Elsie Fisher and infant brother William Fisher. A private visitation for family and close friends will be held Tuesday from 3-7 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Blessing service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
