Emma J. Binando, age 93, of Luciusboro Rd. Center Twp. died Friday, January 6, 2012 at Rose Haven in Indiana, surrounded by her family and her extended Rose Haven family. Emma was born April 8, 1918 in Iselin, PA and was the daughter of Joseph V. and Josephine Cedarmaz Guion. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church and a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Christian Mothers. She worked at the Company store in Fulton Run and the Homer-Center High School Cafeteria. Survived by 1 daughter Shirley Stella and husband Melvin, Luciusboro Rd, Center Twp. and 1 son Ronald and wife Chris, New Philadelphia, OH 1 Granddaughter Holley Binando and husband Jud Scott. 2 Great grandchildren Chloe and Liam and several nieces and nephews Preceded in death by parents, husband Joseph Binando, 1 brother Mario Guion, 2 sisters Nellie Savoy and infant sister Mary, 1 grandson Douglas Binando. Friends will be received Sunday, January 8 from 2-7 P.M. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where a vigil service will be held. A Blessing Service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral Site with the Rev Fr. Terry Hercik, the celebrant. Interment to follow in the SS Simon and Jude Cemetery, Blairsville.
