Edward William Martin

Edward William Martin, 71, Homer City died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at IRMC. He was the son of the late Edward and Florence (McAvoy) Martin. Edward was born April 28, 1941 in Indiana. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and was retired from FMC after 35 years of employment. Edward enjoyed watching the Steelers and spending weekends with his family at the family cabin. He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger years. Edward also loved spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved very much. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Edward is survived by 2 children Rita Adamson and husband Ronald of Indiana and William Martin and wife the former Kim Wheeler of Homer City. He is also survived by four grandchildren Kathryn and Jeremy Adamson and Mikayla and Alexis Martin. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Matt Jones, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana
