Dorothy Mae Morris

Dorothy Mae Morris, age 96, of Homer City, died August 20, 2016 at Lynn Haven Personal Care Home, Blacklick, PA. She was born on May 9, 1920 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of John and Emily (Carnahan) Riedel. Dorothy is survived by three sons; Rev. Paul and wife Georgia Morris, Homer City; David and companion Stacey Nichols, Belle Vernon, PA and John and wife Laurice Morris of Bethel Park, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren Terri Gray, Michael Morris, Benjamin Morris and Shawn Morris and 8 great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by husband Paul H. Morris, parents, and sisters Jane Nelson, Emily Scott and Catherine Nylund. Friends will be received on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Homer City, with the Rev. Kathrina Laude and Rev. Paul Morris, officiating. Interment to follow at the Chartiers Cemetery, Carnegie, PA
