She was born December 8, 1926 in Homer City and was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Bracken. Dorothy was a longtime resident at 262 E. Church Street in Homer City and a lifetime member of St. Marys Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer City, She was employed at Homer City State Bank, Brodys department store and Riverside market in Indiana. She was married to Renaldo Lovisa on July 3, 1948. She is survived by three children: Renaldo Lovisa, Jr. and wife Kay of Wake Forest, N.C. Cynthia Ann Shriner and husband Bill of Frederick, Md. Mary Jo Lovisa of Denham Springs, Louisiana She was preceded in death by: Parents - father: Michael (1935) and mother: Mary (1970) Husband - Renaldo (1976) Brothers - Michael and John and Sisters Mary Stutsko, Ann Kinsley, Pauline Flanigan, Helen Brayall, Julia Kolakowski and Kathryn Sipos. Friends will be received Monday from 6-9 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where a Parastas will be held at 6PM at the funeral home. A Panachida will be recited at Tuesday 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Divine Liturgy at 10 AM at St. Marys Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer City with Father Cuthbert Jack, the celebrant. Internment to follow in St. Bernard Cemetery
