With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Rae Coffman (Weiss), who departed this world on April 16, 2025, at the age of 67.
Born on April 5, 1958, Debby lived a life full of love, music, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of Joe Coffman, her partner in life and love for 46 beautiful years. Together, they built a life in Brush Valley filled with warmth, faith, and laughter. She was a member of the Calvary Evangelical Church in Brush Valley.
Debby was the proud and loving mother of Jennifer (Tim) Beck of Wadsworth, Ohio, and Matthew (Tegan) Coffman of Chippewa Lake, Ohio. Her greatest joy came from being a mom and a grandmother, and she shined most when supporting her grandchildren—Micah, Tyler (Makayla), Aiden, Addison “Addie”, Emmaleigh “Emy”, and Silas—in all their pursuits. Her heart grew even fuller with the arrival of her great-grandson Elijah, who brought her so much happiness.
A gifted singer, Debby had the voice of an angel and a spirit to match. Whether leading a song or quietly rocking a baby, she brought comfort and joy to everyone around her. Her hugs were legendary, and her smile could light up a room. She had a special way of making everyone feel loved and seen.
Debby was lovingly cared for by her husband Joe, whose devotion never wavered. To know Debby was to love her, and her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her kindness, her music, and above all, her deep and abiding love for her family.
Debby was preceded in death by her parents, Oren and Wilda Weiss (Neudorfer), as well as three brothers and four sisters.
Debby faced the challenges of Parkinson's disease for 18 years, but her unwavering faith in our Savior, Jesus, always kept her strong. Her faith shone brightly, guiding her through every challenge. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
