David Earl Mardis

David Earl Mardis, Sr., age, 80, of Indiana, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at St. Andrews Village. He was born March 29, 1931 in Barrackstown and was the son Foster James and Viola (Sears) Mardis. David was a member of the US Army. Surviving is his wife Shirley Lee (Varner) Mardis 4 children Annette and husband Eugene Sullenberger, New Alexandria David E. Mardis and wife Barbara, Iselin Daniel L. Mardis, Blacklick, PA James Michael Mardis and wife Linda, Indiana 3 grandchildren Nichole, Rachel and Christina Many nieces and nephews David is preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings Friends will be received Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City, where services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home, with the Rev. Pastor Chuck Lockard officiating.
