Colleen Ann (McCausland) Zitzelman

Colleen Ann (McCausland) Zitzelman, 53, Blairsville died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Richard and Constance (McGivern) McCausland and was born December 3, 1958 in Allegheny County. Colleen attended the Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana and was a graduate of Cambria Heights High School, Ebensburg. She was employed at Arin Intermediate Unit 28 for 25 years until her retirement in 2009. Colleen loved her grandchildren and especially enjoyed attending their sporting events. She assisted education with the American Blind Association; was an avid pet lover and volunteered with the Indiana County Animal Shelter. Colleen liked playing pool was won the cue stick challenge, and she also tutored at the Indiana County Jail where she helped the inmates receive their GEDs. She is survived by one daughter - Constance McCausland of Johnstown; one son- Cory and wife Mina Shugarts of Phoenix, AZ; 5 grandchildren - Jordan Lybarger and Coby Christian; Hileen, Shelby and Ian Shugarts; 3 brothers and 2 sisters - Stanley and Jan Rosporski of Brush Valley; Ralph Rosporski of Luciusboro; Kathy Lantzy and Karen Sardone both of Homer City and Richard McCausland of Rossiter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 1 until time of service at 4PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City.
