Betty I. (Snyder) Smith

Betty I. Smith, 87, Homer City died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Archie K. and Florence (McKay) Snyder and was born May, 26, 1925 in Homer City, Pennsylvania. In 1969 Betty moved to Arizona and lived there for over 30 years. She moved back to the Homer City area in 2000 to be with her family and friends. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in her earlier years. She is survived by her son, Lonnie and his wife Kathy of Brush Valley; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Ken Snyder of Homer City. Friends will be received Saturday from 2-4 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 4PM at the funeral home with Rev. Joseph Stains, officiating. Interment in the Greenwood Cemetery.
