Betty J. Croft

Betty J. Croft, 93, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Agnes (Kurtz) Frederick and was born January 18, 1932 in Twin Rocks.

Betty enjoyed raising pugs. Her favorite pastime activities were shopping, yard sales and attending auctions and enjoying sweets. Betty enjoyed playing solitaire and loved family gatherings.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander, her brother, Donald and a great grandson, Robert Taylor. 

Betty is survived by her children, Eugene (Sally) Croft, Pittsburgh; Terry Croft, Westover, PA; Alex Croft (Jeanette Risko), Twin Rocks; Tammy (Dennis) Blumling, Homer City and Brian (Janet) Croft, Tide; her ten grandchildren, Terry Jr., Christine, Erich, Tracy, Steven, Alex Jr., Tara, Tessa, Matthew, and Kurtis; her eleven great-grandchildren; and her four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Edward (Gloria) and her sister, Nancy both from the Strongstown area. 

The family graciously thanks the loving caregivers Betty had over the later years of her life, Ginger, Johanna, Tina, Brook, Lucy, and Trish.

Friends will be received Friday from 6-8 PM at the Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 AM. Interment in the EUB Cemetery, Belsano.
